Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 17, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how ArakiTrade (“ArakiTrade,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our websites, use our products, or interact with us. It applies to the marketing site at arakitrade.com, the dashboard application at app.arakitrade.com, and documentation at docs.arakitrade.com (collectively, the “Services”).

Key points
  • We use your information to operate the Services, authenticate you, secure accounts, and improve reliability.
  • We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect the Services. Analytics cookies are used only if you consent.
  • If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.

Account and authentication information

  • Identifiers used to create and manage your account, such as email address and a user identifier (for example, a Cognito “sub” identifier).
  • Authentication events and session data necessary to sign you in, keep you signed in, and protect your account.

Profile and preferences you provide or generate in the app

  • Profile values you choose to set, such as a display name.
  • Preferences and settings used to make the experience consistent across devices (for example, saved watchlists, presets, onboarding completion, or link preferences).
  • Device-local preferences stored in your browser (for example, theme selection), which may not sync across devices.

Beta access and communications

  • If you request beta access, we collect the information you submit through the form (such as name and email address).
  • If we email you, we may record delivery events and suppression signals (for example, an opt-out request, a bounce, or a complaint) to respect your preferences and maintain deliverability.

Payment and subscription information

  • If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We may receive and store limited billing information such as the customer identifier, subscription status, and timestamps associated with your purchase.
  • We do not receive or store your full payment card number; that information is handled by Stripe.

Usage, device, and log data

  • Information about how the Services are accessed and used, such as pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and general device/browser attributes.
  • Diagnostic and security data, such as error logs and abuse-prevention signals.
  • IP address and related metadata may be processed for security, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service reliability.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including authentication, session management, and account administration.
  • Save and retrieve your preferences and settings, including cross-device preferences where enabled.
  • Send administrative messages, such as beta access emails, security notices, updates, and support communications.
  • Process subscriptions and manage billing-related customer support.
  • Monitor, investigate, and help prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
  • Improve and develop the Services, including performance measurement and reliability improvements.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) to operate the Services. Some are required for core functionality such as authentication and security. For more detail, including how to manage your choices, see our Cookies Policy.

How we disclose information

We disclose information as needed to operate the Services and as permitted by law.

Service providers

  • We use service providers to help deliver the Services. This includes infrastructure and security providers (for example, Amazon Web Services), identity and authentication services (for example, Amazon Cognito), and email delivery services (for example, Amazon SES).
  • If you subscribe, Stripe acts as our payment processor.
  • If you consent to analytics cookies, we use analytics providers such as Google Analytics to help us understand how the marketing site is used.

Legal, safety, and enforcement

  • We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the safety and integrity of the Services, or protect rights and property.
  • We may disclose information to investigate and prevent fraud, security incidents, or technical issues.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it is collected.

  • Account and preference data is generally retained while your account is active.
  • Security and diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited period to investigate incidents and maintain reliability.
  • Beta access records may be retained to manage invitations, handle opt-outs, and maintain email deliverability.
  • Billing and transaction-related records may be retained as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information.

  • Account preferences: you can update certain settings inside the dashboard.
  • Cookies: you can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, through our cookie consent experience.
  • Marketing emails: if you receive promotional emails, you can opt out using the instructions in those emails.

To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

International users

If you access the Services from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as posting an update within the Services.
